Micah Field Study

 10/26/24 8:12 AM sunny with about 14mph winds  36 degrees  sunrise 7:48 AM sunset 5:12 PM about 9 and a half hours of daylight It was a nice morning here, cold, quiet, just a peaceful time.  I saw 2 deer as I was walking to my location an noticed a lit of rustled up leaves that could've been from deer or maybe turkeys. I also think that there was the least amount of algae this visit. although it is cold and brown it is still nice to see what is happening here, lots of animal activity and clear water. 

 10-15-24 2:30 pm Rainy  10 hours of daylight  The landscape continues to get more brown and we have received more rain in the past week now than at the time of any of the previous visits. live is cold and wet here and continuing to trend towards winter.  

 October 31 8:05 AM Daylight time 10 hrs 15 min  67 degrees  cloudy It is a very warm fall morning, winds have been over 25mph for the last 2 days and the leaves are going fast. It appears that the water level has dropped maybe an inch or 2 from my last visit. this morning there was a few rain drops anticipating rain in a short while. going today at this time I saw the sunrise trough the trees, it is amazing how nice of a fall we have been given and it is fun to be outside in Gods creation. 

 10-14-24 10:00 AM Daylight time 11hrs 6min  45 Degrees  The seasons have definitely turned to fall, my field study location is showing it and it is a mere 45 degrees the morning after 7 tenths of rain. the leaves and temperature are things that stand out the most during this visit, had I been here at 7:00 tonight I would also be noticing how dark it is at that time as opposed to a month ago. something that I was surprised by was that the water level hasn't appeared to change much, I was expecting it to have dropped because of how dry it has been despite just getting 7 tenths of rain. 

 9-25-24              12 hours of daylight 12:30 pm            75 degrees   sunny         As I stand here it truly is humbling. just forget about the rest of the world and the problems of the day and just stand in a desolate place in Gods great creation with the birds, frogs, ducks and whatever else is there that I don't know about. since my. last visit I could tell that fall is starting to set in, the leaves are turning colors and beginning to fall. I observed that if you agitate the water so that the algae clears the water under neath is crystal clears as seen in a picture below. i've also notice that here is a fair amount of big trees that are dead or blew down, despite this there is a lot of small trees that make up for the dead ones. this show me how great Gods creations and how he created it in in such a way that the trees would drop seeds of some sorts so that they would conti...
